Rebecca Lawlor, designer, actress, and philanthropist, is a woman with
an avid passion for charity. As a result of this passion, Rebecca has
dedicated her time to helping children and raising awareness for
abuse. Combining her love of fashion and philanthropy, Rebecca founded
the Hearts of Hope Foundation Inc. This foundation is a 501(c) 3; a
non-profit organization based on the premise of bringing solid hope to
children who have been abused.
Rebecca Lawlor will be honored for her philanthropic endeavors by
receiving the title of "Dame" under the Imperial Order of Saint
Helen on Saturday October 22nd. After becoming a Dame, Rebecca Lawlor
will continue her honors by being crowned the first "Mrs. U.S.
Ambassador"™ for FoRe! These ceremonies will act as the
commencement for the international "A Heart FoRe! Grace"
fundraiser.
The international "A Heart FoRe! Grace" fundraiser is a
culmination of the dreams of Rebecca Lawlor and Maria DiGiovanni,
founder and CEO of FoRe! Beyond the Green International Ministries.
The fundraiser was inspired and created by the legacy of a 17-year-old
girl close to the hearts of Rebecca and Maria. This young woman's
spirit lives on as she passed with grace on August 30th, 2011.
As a closing to the benefit, a charity fashion show will be on October
23rd at the Luxurious Pelican Crest Estate in Newport Beach. This
fashion show will exhibit Rebecca Lawlor Limited signature pieces.
These pieces include Rebecca's signature glass hearts as well as her
personally designed line of handbags. In addition to Rebecca Lawlor
Limited pieces, the show will launch the new fashion lines of FoRe! as
well as designer sponsor Kyaleigh Kouture.
Rebecca Lawlor Limited hearts and handbags will be on sale during the
event. The signature glass hearts will be sold on a limited edition
purple ribbon, a color chosen in memorandum of the young girl whose
spirit lives on through Rebecca, Maria, and many others. These hearts
are a versatile accessory that may be added to any selection or piece
in one's wardrobe. Proceeds from the sale of Rebecca Lawlor pieces
during the 'A Heart FoRe! GRACE' fundraiser will be allocated to
FoRe!, the Hearts of Hope Foundation, and a chosen family who is in
need after the loss of a child.
This weekend will be a very exciting event for Rebecca as she prepares
to begin her next adventure. Rebecca Lawlor Limited will be joining
Meghan Linsey of Steel Magnolia as her gifting suite designer on Reba
McEntire's "All the Women I Am" tour with The Band Perry, and
Eden's Edge.
Celebrities expected: "The Brothers Cruz" (Abe and Dave Cruz),
owners of Forever Faith – The Lifestyle Brand, of episode 9 of
season 5 "The Millionaire Matchmaker", world renowned Yoga
instructor Caroline Klebl, singing sensation Savannah of Ellen
Degeneres' Eleven Eleven Record Label, former NFL Charger Craig
McEwen, and many more.
